Garvit Foundation Chhattisgarh is a dynamic Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) committed to fostering positive change within our society. With a five-year legacy of dedicated social service, our organization stands as a beacon of hope and transformation. Established on January 3, 2019, under the Chhattisgarh Societies Registration Act, 1973, our operational headquarters are situated in Devendra Nagar Sector 05, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. We proudly operate across the entirety of Chhattisgarh, leaving no corner untouched by our mission. At the heart of Garvit Foundation Chhattisgarh lie numerous social and cultural initiatives, each designed to raise awareness and address the pressing issues faced by our communities. During the global Covid-19 pandemic, we took on the crucial role of dispelling fear and spreading awareness of the virus in rural areas. Our dedication shone through as we distributed 250,000 face masks crafted by self-help groups affiliated with our organization. We also coordinated the provision of essential necessities, including food, water, medicines, and relief materials, to stranded migrant laborers during the lockdown. Families separated from their loved ones outside Chhattisgarh found their way back home safely, thanks to our efforts. We extended a helping hand to laborers making the arduous journey home on foot during the pandemic, providing them with food, water, medicines, clothing, shoes, slippers, and dry food items. In the post-pandemic phase, we collaborated with the food channel organization Zomato to distribute dry ration materials to families living below the poverty line in various locations. In Atal Nagar, Nava Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, we actively engage with students, parents, and guardians of Crystal House School. This institution provides free international-level education to children from impoverished families displaced from their villages. We organize health information and awareness camps, eye check-ups, as well as high blood pressure and diabetes screenings. Recently, our colleague, Dr. Munmun Aggarwal, delivered an informative talk on female infertility, diagnosis, and treatment. Under our Skill Development & Personality Development Program, we offer a one-month course equipping individuals with essential skills for freelancing jobs and creating additional income sources. To engage students from various universities and colleges nationwide in social activities and instill a sense of civic duty, we conduct internship programs, providing certificates that pave the way for a brighter future. Our commitment to our mission also reflects in the routine we provide, fulfilling long-standing aspirations. Our overarching objective transcends singular focus; instead, we champion holistic development. Our core areas of focus encompass cleanliness, health, education, employment, and the environment. Above all, our primary focus remains on translating our beliefs into impactful action.
