The GenDev Centre for Research and Innovation (hereinafter “GenDev CRI”) was set up to strengthen the women’s movement through feminist research and policy analysis. It was set up to conduct and develop innovative strategies in the development processes for women’s inclusion. GenDev CRI follows a policy of equal opportunity and fair treatment with a commitment to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace. It follows a policy of shared and individual responsibility for occupational health and safety of its staff and employees, transparency with accounts and funding, equality and non-discrimination. Noting that affirmative action is necessary to ensure equality of opportunity, this Constitution puts forth the policies in place at GenDev CRI with regard to recruitment and selection. Further, it puts in place a policy for sexual harassment at the workplace and a policy for protection of children and vulnerable adults.
