M/s General Highways And Infracon Pvt Ltd started with the aim to innovate in the field of Design of Highways And Bridges and to experiment with the new materials, technology being followed all over the world. Aim of the GHAI.PL is to make India a Hub of Innovation where instead of We India adopting the international technology, should make a technology meant for the world. GHAI.PL is constantly innovating with new materials like Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC) which will help in reducing the weight of the different components of the structure and because of it’s light weight in nature will be easy to carry from Factory to site. Another material if FRP (Fibre Reinforced Polymer) and exploring this material in implementing in the structural forms like in walls, columns, beams etc. This material is especially useful in the Corrosive Environment. Another field we are innovating is the collection of Data of Bridges in a 3D Form and make them available on the web portal. This is relatively a new concept where the 3D Model of the Bridge is developed especially capturing the data in the GPS denied environment. The data collected will include the existing problems in the structure and it’s components like crack in concrete, missing bolts in steel etc. This will help in maintain the health of the bridge in the country. These are some of the few fields we are working and exploring other fields also in the field of civil engineering with the aim to build a better and long lasting safe structures in India.
