The Company Profile The company GeoVision Smart Services Private limited, founded in 2019, to specifically address the entire IoT system solutions in various emerging areas like Building energy management, water management etc. GeoVision as a known vendor to IBM India, have been engaged with IBM for a very long time as a solution provider and integrator in the areas of M2M, Mobile Asset tracking and management, Remote energy metering etc. Actually, we were IBM selected partner/ ISV for this vertical during the time IBM was offering total solutions to TELCOs like Airtel, Vodafone, Idea Telecom etc. as a part of their proposed VAS portfolio offerings. At various times, we have been subjected to very close interactions in relation to hardware development and testing, Server interfacing for configuration, provisioning and monitoring purposes, solution mapping and interfacing for integration for such applications in M2M areas. GeoVision is one of the early pioneers in the mobile asset tracking, deployment optimization engine designs, logistic integration with end-to-end visibility, as well as location embedded authentication application use cases. We had long term, up to 8/10 years of repeat contracts for one window SaaS type solutions for end-to-end human and cargo logistics, both primary and secondary, including planning, deployment, monitoring and optimization applications. And these contracts were secured with very reputed clients like J.P.Morgan Chase (nationally, 7 locations, 35000 people), Wipro (nationally, 10 locations), Future logistics, Synechron, Bec Logistics, Mahindra Logistics, WNS BPO, ST Microelectronics etc.. We have given uninterrupted services to these clients for long years and our scope included supply and maintenance of field mobile hardware of own design, Server side optimization and Employee Rostering, Routing and Vehicle deployment application software with latest GIS and integrated middleware based systems. Most of our clients paid through monthly payment plans (divided into Capex and Opex components as per client benefits or schemes) and till date we have never lost a single days revenue due to breach of SLA conditions. GeoVision has seen decline of this business, industry wide during last 2/3 years and wish to diversify into other modern technology areas. GeoVision already has a strong product and service portfolio in the areas of smart city deployment models for Solid Waste management, House tagging with NFC cards with GIS and digital Address ID generation, Service delivery quality assurance system through mobile terminal and door step billing and receipting systems for various citizen centric services like fee or house tax, water tax collection etc. Here also we have both integrated service offerings inclusive of customized hardware, application software and suitable middleware. The Technical collaborator in our present venture is a very young and extremely high potential venture by few young IIT-Bombay engineers and the company is called Faclon labs. Although the starting impetus for this venture came from the deep concern for Water conservation and management over wide geography in India, they have now gathered experience in implementing many areas of IoT applications including energy management, asset management, water management & smart metering. Faclon provides end-to-end wireless offerings consisting of IoT device & IoT platform to efficiently solve the operational problems by enabling infrastructure visibility, control & process automation. Faclon’s IoT device is an in-house built flagship product that can be customized into several sensors interfacing protocols (DLMS, Modbus RS 485, Serial, Analog I/Os, Digital I/Os) depending on the application. For communication, they have product variants for 2G, 4G & LoRa. I/O Sense (IoT Platform) is a multitenant cloud-based software that can be easily configured and customized to solve an operational problem. The company have delivered their IoT solutions to 30+ companies including the likes of Reliance Industries, L&T Heavy Electricals, GHCL, Lodha, Base Group, TATA Steel, Raymond, Moradabad Municipal Corporation etc. For instance, the company is providing energy & temperature monitoring and AC control for Raymond’s outlets. Faclon’s products have enabled Moradabad Municipal Corporation to centrally monitor the energy & flow and control the pumping operations of 50 pumping stations. At GHCL, I/O Sense is monitoring & analyzing energy footprints of all the assets across the factory infrastructure in Vapi. The company is currently doing a project for HDFC for comprehensive central monitoring & controlling of the assets inside ATM (signage, AC, energy, UPS, ATM, temperature, door, camera). With a core focus on technology & rapid innovation, Faclon labs have turned into a very important player to drive & realize the true potential of IoT in India.
