GlyZy is a Synthetic biology company formed by alumni of Molecular bio physics unit, Indian Institute of Science (Bangalore, India). Our team is specialized in areas of molecular biology, protein chemistry, Enzyme engineering, Strain engineering and Fermentation. Our core Competencies include Recombinant Protein Production, gene deletion, gene Integration in Various Hosts (E.Coli, Bacillus, Corynebacterium, Yarrowia, Pichia and Trichoderma). 1.We are in to Production and Development of Natural plant derived small molecules (flavonoids) with Insecticidal, Nutraceutical and Cosmeceutical Potential from Engineered Microorganisms (Ex: Eriodictyol, Astragalin, Luetin ). 2.We develop Exclusive and Non-Exclusive Technologies as per client demand, Transfer and Demonstrate the same till Pilot scale (10L fermentation scale). Recent Technology Transfers we did (a. Development of mRNA Vaccine preparatory Enzymes platform (Pyrophosphatase, T7 RNA polymerase, Dnase1, Benzonase) b. Development of technology for Milk Proteins Production (Human Lactoferrin, beta Lacto Globulin) in Yeast and Filamentous Fungi) c. Biocatalytic enzymes for API manufacturing) 3.Other Therapeutic Products in development include Hyaluronic acid and NMN . Principal Team: Dr. Savitha Nadig was a Microbiologist with expertise in Molecular Biology and Strain Engineering. Nishank Reddy was a Biochemist with Expertise in Fermentation (Upstream ) and Bioassay development.
