The world talk about "Organic", "Eco-friendly", "Save the Earth", "Indigenous agro-practices" "Sustainable organic farming" and about the ill-effects of chemical persistence, promotion of organic farming etc. But a close observation shows even a single effort for ways and basics to turn our agrarian country's soil betterment, natural ingredients of the soil, farming investors/workers' health and a poison free food crops, is still not being taken! Only isolated awareness creation and "high level" training are happening which the common agriculture investors (farmers and agro-workers would never be benefited. It is good for showcasing and media claims of "achievement indicators". The main reason behind still people are not following the eco-friendly bio-techech organic fertilizers and pesticides is that they are not "Ready Made" as of the chemical ones. At the time of fertilizer and pesticides application and other works, the farmers are busy due to many reasons, like non-availability of labourers, monsoon vagaries, climate changes, water shortage and such many. So they are not able to go for for making the organic fertilizers, pesticides, they simply turn to chemical "Ready made" ones. And also there are middle-men who are ready offering "Credit" support, which the farmers may return after the harvest. Hence CARES utilizing its skills, dedication and the networks of more than 600 SHGs, CBOs, etc. commercially start manufacturing of 10 types of bio-tech fertilizers, manures and pesticides and to market them using direct marketing through the SHGs and CBOs so to make them available "Ready made" at an affordable and low cost. And also the crops or such organic and healthy one will also be collected and marketed at a high price utilizing the existing demand of "Organic" crops and thus to enhance the return and remuneration of the framing families. And we also have plans to take-up natural fiber plants based fiber extraction and crafts making; mainly based on Banana trees - to say value addition and thus to making of highly feasible and present trending 34 types of products/crafts and also food for livestock and fertilizer from the waste of Banana. Thus under the proposed start-up, CARES plans to have a 100% eco-friendly products that are highly demand-driven and feasible for income generation, business and enterprising with proper marketing strategies and linkages too. And the above mentioned two types of products, there are highly potential research opportunities and inventions of new products (Example the banana value addition starts from simple fiber threads to shirts, slippers, highly quality printing papers and even currency note printing too).
