GoCoop Solutions & Services Private Ltd, is an organization dedicated to socio-economic development of weavers and artisans. We truly believe that technology can drive social change. In this endeavor, GoCoop.com is a global marketplace platform for weavers and artisans. Marketplace brings together the producers to collectively market their products online and it enables buyers and consumers across the world to discover and buy these unique products. Our dream is to enable sustainable livelihood for artisans through our online marketplace platform. GoCoop has over the past 3 years created a strong supply chain of 300+ weaver and artisan co-ops and other producer organizations from over 50 important handloom clusters across India and with plans to increase this reach substantially over the next 18 months. Over the years, we are seeing a significant social change in the life of our artisans who are not only getting higher price for their produce but are also empowered by technology which is allowing them to participate in an open marketplace without any intermediaries. Our vision is to enable and empower 1 million artisans in next 7 years. GoCoop is the winner of Govt. of India's (Ministry of Textile) national award for Handloom marketing (eCommerce) 2015. GoCoop founder Siva Devireddy was part of the prestigious Champion of Change 2017 program by Hon'ble Prime minister of India and Niti Aayog. GoCoop case study was presented as part of the UN ESCAP conference on sustainable development in Bangkok.
