Godaam Innovations private limited(GIPL) is involved in developing next generation smart solutions for increasing shelf life of onions. GIPL has developed an IOT based product which measure & notify near time climatic changes and also for early detection & communication of onion rotting in warehouses. The product facilitates separation of rotten onions from good ones, thus saving them from infection. As per Directorate of onion & garlic research, Gov of India, 40-50% of onions are spoiled in warehouse. GIPL aims to reduce wastage to 15% in a cost effective way. GIPL also has long term goals of diversifying in to other crops as well as building ideal warehouses which ensures minimal wastage. GIPL has a vision of stabilizing onion prices by streamlining supply so that end user as well as farmer would get fair price.
