Green Collar Agritech Solutions Pvt Ltd (“GCA”) is a Company focusing on enabling and empowering small and marginal farmers, with particular emphasis on women farmers. GCA works on two primary areas of the agriculture sector, namely a) farm inputs optimization and b) post-harvest processing of agricultural produce, working closely with farmers and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPO). The farm input optimization solutions of GCA solve specific problems on the field, pertaining mainly to soil health and crop growth management by way of closed loop farming techniques, as well as mechanization solutions that substantially reduce labour costs involved in the crop cycle. The post harvest solutions from GCA comprise a set of equipment which improve storage, grading, packaging, sorting capabilities that will enable the farmers to realize a competitive price for their produce as well as ensure expanded access to domestic and export markets. Green Collar Agritech Solutions is a small beginning for the small and marginalized farmers which promises to make sustained incremental improvements in its journey, with the vision to realize the monumental possibility of creating a flourishing green collar workforce who proudly engage in their chosen profession of farming, in a self-reliant India.
