Being a marketplace is nothing new in the country. There are plenty of them already there. Amazon and Flip cart are the big ones of this sphere. But there are a few things which makes this start up solution unique compared to rest all: 1. Most of the online portal are not true e commerce. These are mostly online shops. They supply from their respective nurseries and therefore, it becomes an online shop. Buying from a single online shop doesn’t give a sense of freedom of making choice to the user. User also doesn’t get satisfaction that he has evaluated the products from 5 other sources. This is the main reason that no online shop which is currently working is not successful to its true potential. This start up is not going to be just an online shop. It will not compete with small nurseries around. It will rather help them and enable them to sell better. It will onboard existing nurseries so that user will have ample choice to make on a single screen. This makes this start up unique. 2. Then come the big ones like Amazon of the world. These are the true portal of e-commerce but they suffer another set of problems. A person who is selling plant from Karnataka will also be available as an option to a person sitting in Noida. Now if an order is placed from Noida, it is very difficult to transport a plant for such distant area. Plant being a living entity, always is best services from a nearby place. Even if a distant nursery decides to supply, it will incur a huge transportation and packing cost. This start up promises to provide plants, sitting at home, at the same price at which it will be available in the nurseries from a local nursery only. Users will in fact be able to see the details of the nurseries and will be allowed to compare. Start up is offering a complete localised solution in different pin codes of the country. This makes it unique. 3. This start up strengthen the poor gardeners’ community who could not grow in this our country. It will impart training and provide certification. Trained resources will deliver better services to clients resulting into more greens with less waste. Similarly, this start up offers to promote botanist as plant doctors. This will give a new boost to the community which remained underestimated so far in the country. 4. Building beautification from exterior is a complete miss in India. People do lit up building and do fancy painting and glass work to beautify a building from outside. But the beauty of green plants from the pockets of the exterior façade of he building makes the building so beautiful that it becomes not only environment friendly but very soothing to the eyes. Needless to say, that this kind of beautification will be relatively low cost solution. This makes this start up unique. A green building has a capability of reducing the power bill by a significant amount on account of much less need of maintaining air-conditioning cooling.
