Yet We Nitesh Soni (B.Tech Mechatronics) and Dhannulal soni (Commerce Graduate) Directors of Greentech Agro Industries LLP intends to set up a new venture in agri and horti business. We propose to set up a One tpd integrated Button Mushroom Production Unit under Controlled Climatic Conditions at Dist Durg or Raipur in Chhattisgarh State. Innovative Technology : We may say that mushroom is not an innovative product, but innovation lies in its method of production. The technology which we will apply, will produce Best quality of Organic Mushroom 365 days in any external climatic conditions. Commercial viability and Wealth Creation : Production of Fresh Button Mushrooms in Chhattisgarh is NIL. Therefore there is vide potential of wealth creation opportunity. There is a wide gap in demand and supply of Mushrooms in India. There is huge demand of mushroom in Chhattisgarh and in the adjoining States like Orissa/Jharkhand and Andhara. Potential for Employment Generation This project proposal offers vide range of direct and indirect employment opportunities. The following groups will be covered for marketing : Local Health food stores/Households/Farmers Market /Supermarkets /Restaurants /Hotels/ College and Factory canteens and Caterers Creating demand for Agro waste : Basic raw material in Mushroom production is paddy straw which is available in abundant. Majority of the straw is left in the fields or is burnt. The other raw material poultry manure is also available in nearby villages. Incremental Value for customers: The product mushroom has got great incremental value for customers. It is raw material for food processing units. Canning units/ Pickle/Nuggets/Ready to eat dishes etc Contributing to Health Benefits : Mushrooms are source of quality protein having essential amino acids and high digestibility No cholesterol and low fat with ergosterol and polyunsaturated fatty acids : Good for Heart. Low calorific food with no starch, low sugars : Delight of Diabetics. High Fibre, low sodium-high potassium diet : Anti-Hypertensive. Good source of vitamin B-complex and Vit C; only vegetable source of Vit D. Rich in minerals like copper (cardio-protective) & Selenium (anti-cancer). Production of Organic Manure : Mushroom waste called Spent Mushroom Substrate SMS after treatment becomes Organic Manure which will boost organic farming in the region. Different components of production are as follows : In 1st Phase of production : Compost and Mushroom will be produced. In 2nd Phase of production : Spawn (Mushroom Seed) and Canned Mushroom In 3rd Phase of production : Value Added products (Pickle/nuggets/ready to eat dishes etc) In 4th Phase of production : Treatment of Spent Mushroom Compost as Organic Manure The main objective of our unit is to present a small scale viable bankable production unit through adoption of appropriate technology, utilization of resources and suitable market strategy and also imparting technical know how on minimal basis. Thus we aim to develop and commercialize. The poduct has great potential of employment generation and wealth creation. It has also vast incremental value for customers. A new method of Mushroom cultivation.
