BRINGING DENTAL CARE AT DOORSTEPS Nearly 90% of Indians have dental problems. But most do nothing about it. Reasons are that people don’t get it checked up frequently and are not aware of a problem developing until it becomes painful, dentists are few outside major cities, and seeing a dentist is cumbersome process and waste of a whole day even for smallest of problems. DialDent (www.dialdent.in), from Greystone Care, changes that. Instead of making people look for dental clinics, it takes clinic to them. Using unique portable technology and equipment, DialDent sets up a full-fledged dental clinic at any premises in just about 15-20 minutes. These clinics are capable of conducting most dental treatments including x-rays, filling, root canal, extraction etc. So people can get themselves checked and treated in comfort of their homes or offices without going anywhere. DialDent has already conducted 16000 such on-site diagnostics and over 4000 on-site procedures in NCR thus bringing dental care to doorsteps of thousands of people. While currently its available only in Delhi NCR, its unique mobility gives DialDent a tremendous potential to reach out to millions of people living in semi-urban and rural areas where there’s no dental care available today. It can transform a vital under-serviced healthcare segment which affects millions of Indians all over.
