Food is a basic necessity of life. We are What We Eat! Majority of the food, we get in the market and thereby eat, is processed. The unhealthy nature of the processed foods is the cause of major physical and mental illnesses. Despite knowing the extremely harmful effects of the processed foods, majority of the population is forced to consume them because of non availability of affordable and convenient alternatives. Organic food, the currently available alternative to processed foods, is unaffordable and lacks genuineness. Our vision, at Grind & Pound (G&P), is be India's Real & Unprocessed Foods Bowl i.e. foods that have not been industrially processed and there has been no alteration or interferences in their natural qualities. G&P is on the mission to be India's First Company to serve 100% Unprocessed, CAP free (Chemicals, Additives and Preservatives), pure, nutritious, fresh, hygienic foods by utilizing the knowledge wealth of ancient traditions and methods of food processing while transforming the business model through IT disruption. The core values of G&P are Trustworthiness (Unprocessed, Real & Pure Foods) and Common Good (Promote Local Production, Direct Procurement from Farmers and Circular Business Model).
