GRS CELEBRATIONS
Bengaluru, Karnataka
In their own words
1. The Problem (The Market Gap) The event industry is currently split into two extremes: premium venues that are financially out of reach for lower-middle-class families, and budget halls that lack hygiene, aesthetics, and basic amenities. Furthermore, families are often "forced" into expensive in-house catering and decor monopolies, driving up costs by 50–70% through hidden commissions and lack of choice. 2. The Solution (Consumer focused model) The proposed startup introduces a "Freedom-of-Choice" Managed Space Model. This model provides high-aesthetic, premium-feel event venues located in accessible, high-density residential hubs (Tier 2/3 locations). Cost-Cutting via open spaces and landscaping: Utilizing sustainable, movable infrastructure with beautification from plants and trees reduces the venue's capital expenditure, allowing for savings to be passed directly to the consumer. Hybrid Packages: An "All-Inclusive" bundle is offered for convenience, alongside a "No-Compulsion" policy. Customers have the freedom to bring their own catering, decorators, or photographers, aiming to reduce burden on the public and break monopoly. 3. Social Impact & Inclusivity A core mission is Financial Inclusivity. By offering transparent, hourly, or slot-based pricing and removing mandatory vendor costs, the goal is to empower the lower and middle-lower class to host significant celebrations at a potentially lower cost compared to traditional market rates. This aims to allow families to create memories without the potential burden of high costs. Urbanization has led to a disconnection from nature, with existing event venues offering artificial or generic backdrops. Developing a network of 'Celebration Sanctuaries' event spaces nestled within existing or newly developed landscapes/ meadows, the project brings the customers back to their roots and also aims at afforestation and preserving the existing greenery.
