Technical and Commercial Proposal The Real Time On-Board Temperature Monitoring Solution for Locomotives is a derivative of the Real Time Wireless and Batteryless solution that has been successfully established in metro networks. The proposal that is provided below is towards refinement and enhancement of the solution to suit for Locomotive environments which are harsher than metro environment. The functionalities are as follows, 1. Identification of Loco with an unique id 2. Identification of asset’s with an unique id 3. Real time temperature of the equipment’s 4. Historic data of equipment’s temperature 5. Alert generation in case of temperature beyond threshold temperature range It is also worthy to note that the installations of the sensors will be done on a non-intrusive method and will be able to with stand the shock and vibrations of the locomotives
