Ayurvedic products are being popular day by day because these products used in day to day life & treatment of all kind of diseases. Ayurvedic system of product is as old as the vedic age. Manufacturing of Herbal and Ayurvedic products is simple and also good market demand for these products. According to the WHO as much as 80%of the world's population relies traditional product. With increased concerns about rising health care costs, governments are encouraging the use of indigenous for mas of products rather than expensive cosmetic & drugs. This has been a strong driver for resuscitation of herbal and ayurvedic product in the country. Traditional treatment with Ayurveda and other herbal products etc., as well established and widely acknowledged to be safe effective. The indigenous system of product, viz., Ayurveda and Homeopathy are dependent on medicinal plants. Traditional products and complementary/Alternative product (TM/CAM) particularly in the last decades, have come to be widely and increasingly used in both developing and developed countries. Since ancient times India is a preacher for Ayurvedic products and its use for mankind. Earlier their use was only confined to the rural area, but due to increasing side effects of allopathic products use of such type products increasing both in rural and urban areas and demand for Ayurvedic products is increasing till date. The rural areas are still using Ayurvedic products for the as there daily routine. These are some Ayurvedic units known by this office & are engaged in manufacturing various type ayurvedic drugs i.e. M/s Baba Ayurvedic Bhavan, M/s Uttam Lab, M/s Aggarewal C/p Ayurvedi products. M/s Sukhija Ayurvedic Pharmacy & M/s Uttam Exports, olden herbs, Cure quick pharma, Zee Herbal. Param Pharmacuticals etc are located in Karna and M/s Yamuna Pharmacy Yamuna Nagar. These units are selling their products in the adjoining states. Furthermore, Bihar is now a growing market for Ayurvedic and Herbal product both manufacturing and selling units. People are also doing agriculture for herbal herbs and plants. Government is also encouraging this in Bihar.
