Hale Med Private Limited has been incorporated with an objective of decoding and simplifying the complex distribution & supplies of Medtech & pharmaceutical products to Hospitals in India. The hospital infrastructure of India is highly fragmented and the hospital beds are not concentrated in many big hospitals, the Top layer of Private hospitals of India represents approximately 10% of the hospitals beds in private sector, rest of the hospital beds are highly spread in about 32K, Tier 2 & Tier 3 hospitals. These Tier 2&3 hospitals are between 2 to 200 beds capacity hospitals and these hospitals are real healthcare providers of India. These hospitals most of the time have very high occupancy rate. This high occupancy is due to various reasons like personal connect & trust with the local hospital owner doctor, comparatively more affordability to people who pay out of pocket for hospital bills, easy access and The supply chain to these Tier 2&3 hospitals is mostly catered by unorganized sector with minimal transparency of prices to the hospitals and no end user data to manufacturing companies. There is a huge scope and space to consolidate the supplies and do the demand aggregation in Tier 2&3 hospitals. The HaleMed’s prime focus will remain to consolidate this market segment and provide transparent pricing to these hospitals and to offer aggregated volumes to manufacturing companies along with the end user data for their marketing activities.
