Harix Global Solutions Private Limited is a product-led technology company building Caloura, an AI-powered calorie and nutrition tracking app that removes the two biggest barriers to consistent food tracking: slow manual logging and paywalled features common in existing apps. Caloura uses AI-based food recognition powered by a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture, users photograph a meal, and an LLM combined with a retrieval layer over a nutrition database identifies the food and returns accurate nutritional data, improving on standard image-classification approaches. A barcode lookup handles packaged foods, and a dynamic engine generates personalized daily calorie and macro targets based on each user's body data and goals. Caloura is live on Android (Google Play), with iOS completed and under Apple review. It is currently free to use with no monetization enabled, as the focus has been on building a strong, engaged user base first. A future paid tier is planned, priced significantly lower than comparable apps, while maintaining efficient, high-quality service. Alongside Caloura, Harix builds custom software, SaaS products, and AI automation solutions (AI agents, CRM automation) for business clients, giving the team hands-on experience shipping products end-to-end, from concept to live app store deployment.
