Healthy Crunchy Foods Private Limited is a food and agribased startup working in the area of chips, namkeen, and millet-based healthy snacks. We operate with three brands – Yummy (potato chips), PUFFECTO (millet-based products), and BIHRA (co-branded products with SHGs in Chhattisgarh). Our journey started with the idea of solving two problems. On one side, farmers growing potatoes and millets face wastage, low prices, and very limited opportunities for value addition. On the other side, consumers are looking for snacks that are both affordable and healthy, but most products available in the market are either highly processed or very expensive. We are building a farm-to-flavour model where we buy directly from farmers, process their produce into chips, namkeen, and millet-based products, and distribute them through local retail networks and SHG-run outlets. This not only creates a market for farmers but also ensures consumers get innovative and affordable products. Our uniqueness lies in: Launching millet-based puffs and cookies along with ₹5 affordable snack packs for mass markets. Using semi-automatic packaging machines and involving SHGs for production and distribution. A distribution partnership with BIHAN covering more than 5,000 SHG outlets and Bihan Marts in Chhattisgarh. At present, we have engaged 35+ rural youth and SHG women. In the next five years, we plan to support more than 250 farmers directly and create over 500 employment opportunities. We are also contributing to the promotion of millets in line with the government’s focus on nutri-cereals. Our vision is to grow as a strong FMCG brand from India that is built on innovation, rural empowerment, and healthy food products.
