The penetration rate for hearing aids in India is around 2% as compared to 20 to 30 % in the UK and USA. We would have a huge addressable market if we are able to increase the penetration rate of hearing aids in India which can happen through cost reduction of hearing aids by reaching to clients directly The reasons for low penetration are the time and effort in visiting a traditional retail clinic, the cost of the hearing aids, Multiple visits to the clinic, huge number of models available in the market which confuses the patient. &nbs p; At HearFon Online one can take the hearing test from the comfort of home, discuss their issues with our specialists, and order hearing aids which would be fitted by our technical team and remotely programmed thereon. The clients also get to choose from select handpicked hearing aids as per their hearing loss and better pricing options as compared to retail clinics.
