Craft Melon offers a unique blend of contemporary, urbane, technology, stylish art forms, and furniture with a celebration of Indian flavor. Craft Melon furniture designs are not only functional but also exemplify a deep aesthetic sense and technology that will add character to home. Every art form /furniture/technology is personally handcrafted by trained craftsman and artisans who ensure the perfect finish and quality that is worthy for household. Our collection of exclusive designs are personally designed by in house designers / engineers to ensure the art from/ furniture / technology suits the modern household. The Inlay Art work is almost dying. At one time there were around 5000 artisans in Mysore who were working on this art form. Since this art from remained traditional, the demand for this artwork diminished. So all the artist were all forced to move away from this art work and search some other job for the livelihood. Craft Melon is trying to bring some design intervention to the art from so that we can bring back all the artisans and continue to work .We at Craft Melon trying the contemporize this art from and bring it to the house hold products so the art work continues. We are working very closely with the artisans, designers and engineers and trying to fuse the art form to the furniture and wall frames. Lately we work working on Epoxy technology and hard wood. We are also working toward bring IOT and Artificial Intelligent into the furniture and home décor. We are in the middle of fusing the IOT into chair and sofa so that it suits the modern household. We are also doing research of bring AI into resting chair. On a whole Craft Melon is the blend of Craft, Technology, and Designers product.
