Hemet Rental Startup for Safety of peoples Overview: Helomet is Startup from Bengaluru with IOT based Helmet renting platform. Looking into the day to day Accidents and lack of safety while driving, we have come up with an idea to get started on our Project Helomet. We are 1st in the Market ahead of any competition. In this project, we install a Helmet stand of 12 slots with an automated locking system and with a circular roof with LEDs protecting all the helmets from climate conditions. Apart from just locking the helmets, the stand would also feature in 4 USB charging slots for emergency charging mobile phones. And also provide Wifi to the members of the helmet to be connected to the internet. Each stand is installed every 3KM radius of Bus Stops from one point to the other. Customers will have to download an app for accessing the nearest Helmet point to pick a helmet and enjoy their ride and also to drop the helmet scan for the nearest point to drop back the Hemet. PROBLEM If you’re in Bangalore and book any rental bike, then you must have faced the helmet problem, either no helmet or one helmet will be there inside the bike which is not fulfilled if you are 2. So either you have to end the ride or drive the bike without a helmet by risking your life or you have to carry your own helmet which is very less convenient. SOLUTION We also faced the same issue and got an idea to solve this issue. So here is the solution- We are going to set ‘Helomet’ pick up stations and these stations will cover all over the Bangalore. We will keep some number of helmet depending on the area and requirement, and the helmet will be fully traceable with GPS fixed inside each helmet. And each station has a tree-structured like pole and on each branch, there will be a sensor-based locking system and on these branches, the helmet will be locked. And once the user visits the station there will be QR on each helmet once the user scans the QR with our app the lock will open automatically and the user can take the helmet and once the ride is over he can visit any nearby helmet station and he has to drop the helmet back and press the end ride and take pictures for reference. Unique Selling Proposition According to our research to date, no one has started this helmet rent service. We will be the first in the race and this makes no competition for us in the market. Revenue Model In this idea, there will be a one-time investment while setting up the station and we are going to make the revenue by renting the helmet for each hour or more and charging some amount from the user based on the usage time. Target Market Our Target market will be all the bike rental users and also the people who are having one helmet and sometimes they need the other to pick up their beloved ones at sudden notice.
