India has made significant progress in creating capacity for solar energy. The prime minister's emphasis has given a new fillip to solar power installation. The Solar power potential offers a manufacturing opportunity as well. Here at Hiresun Energy we have observed that , there is a lack of women involvement specially in manufacturing sector. So we started to find the appropriate solution by which a socioeconomic infrastructure can be built among the three issues viz. Rural industrialization , Social Welfare and Women empowerment. Then with the aim to create solutions at the village level with a combination of traditional skills and experiential learning. By following the "women first" and keep the respect to the outstanding capability of women we start to train rural women for "Solar Product manufacturing". Now we are working in 2 villages where rural women are doing manufacturing of many products like solar street light, Solar Lantern, Solar Charge controller, Solar Bulb etc .
