The plant is going to be able to process any kind of raw materials unlike the earlier plants that have been set up under the older technology where they can process only one type of raw materials. The by products produced in the course of manufacture of bio-diesel has a market and therefore no negative impact on the environment. Overall this will contribute to India achieving its target of reduced oil import in due course of time. Upon sustainable production biodiesel, the same plant is intended to serve as gateway to processing Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and thus contribute to the Net Zero Carbon emissions for the aviation industry in India under the Atmanirbhar Bharat. To this effect, the organization envisages to collaborate with various universities and research institutes towards developing a technically and commercially robust solution.
