Hostro Ventures Pvt Ltd is building India's first Operator-validated managed living technology stack for the unorganized PG, co-living, and college hostel market — a segment of 5+ crore residents still run on registers, WhatsApp groups, and manual rent collection. Unlike pure-SaaS competitors, Hostro operates its own co-living property in Jaipur as a live testbed: every feature (bed-level occupancy tracking, automated rent/e-NACH collection, IoT-based smart electricity metering, guard verification workflows) is validated on real residents before being sold to other operators. This "Operator + SaaS" model gives Hostro empirical proof-of-product that pure software vendors can't offer. The platform has two go-to-market arms sharing one backend: Hostro Core (B2C booking + PMS for independent PG/co-living owners) and Hostro Campus (B2B SaaS for college/school hostels), differentiated by a 15–20 minute complaint resolution SLA, anti-ragging audit trails, and automated NAAC/AICTE compliance reporting — none of which exist in any competing product serving Tier-2/3 India today. The business model is highly scalable: marginal cost per additional property onboarded is near-zero, while the addressable market (lakhs of unorganized PG operators and thousands of hostels across India) remains almost entirely undigitized.
