House of Meenu Gupta is an India based label founded by Meenu Gupta, along with her daughters. It was born out of a shared concern for disappearing Indian traditional art practices and our love for craft, culture, fashion, and travel. It began as a collaborative project to preserve the existing Art forms and to innovate how Art is practiced in India. Our manifesto, is really to hope to give a new lease of life to local craft techniques. We work with 100% natural Indian textiles and combine this with the artisanal process of hand Painting and embroidery work based in Gujarat, Rajasthan and Bihar. All our products are 100% handmade, and each piece takes about 2 – 3 weeks to come to life. We designed our first capsule collection called “KARIGARI” to bring to you unique products, with a strong emphasis on Madhubani Paintings. Each collection brings you a new splash of color, heritage and history in a modern wearable format. Our endeavor will be to bring you fashion forward, affordable and super cool fashion and lifestyle product that you can pass on to generations.
