Purpose of the company- To integrate renewable resources with the power sector of the country. Problem- Nagaland sources 90.% of its electricity from the neighboring states, and out of which only 12% of the electricity is sourced through environmental friendly means, despite of having high potential in generating green energy within the state itself. Hence, we (our company) aim to bridge that gap by helping utilize locally available resources to generate electricity and help the state create its own niche. 3.Offering: We shall be making use of one the most commonly found local plant, Bamboo, to help us generate the electricity, which in return not only energizes the state power sector but also boosts and highlights the importance of bamboo and its variant uses across the globe. Thus, placing Nagaland, but more importantly India on a global map for green energy production. 4.Business model: The company shall sign a power purchase agreement with the state government through the power department and earn its profit by selling electricity to the state discom per unit. We are a startup in Manufacturing Bio energy (BioMass-Bamboo)and Bio fuel(2G Ethanol) out of Nagaland north east India.Our first project is a 10MW Bio Mass Power Plant in Nagaland's Dimapur district. For that we have already acquired a lot of private land which is 1500 Acer on a 99 years lease in AK Industrial Village Dimapur Nagaland. Out of which 500 Acer is planted with bamboo and on the rest we will cultivate and harvest bamboo plantation. This will be INDIA's first captive Bio Mass Power Plant. The selling agreement of electricity is under way with government of Nagaland for 25 years through a PPA. The approved model of business is BOO (Build own operate) as an IPP (Independent Power Producer).For the the bio fuels we will use the same bamboo twice in both the plants which will reap a 100% use of the resource. Selling agreement is under way of 2GEthenol to the near by refineries through an MOU.The plant can be bought on a store credit from a German manufacturer. On a store credit of 10years. The project is not only sustainable but will create socio economic impact and employment in Rural Nagaland. Which is in sync with the policies of government for expansion of renewable energy sources and increased blending of bio fuels in the days to come from 5% to 20%.We dedicate our work to PM Modi''s vision of Rural development and employment generation in Rural areas.
