The transportation sector accounts for a large share of the global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and India is one of the top automotive markets in the world using Internal Combustion (I.C) engines. Hence to decrease the GHG emissions it is of utmost importance to take the contribution of the transportation sector into consideration and this project aims to convert such an I.C. engine powered car to an hybrid hydrogen car thus making it a zero emission vehicle, not just based on GHG emission but also in terms of the energy spent on scrapping an old car before it’s life cycle truly ends. What is also truly noteworthy is that the EV available today in the Indian market is either costly or it lacks in technology. Through this project we aim to find and prove that a solution is available to tackle the emission vows of the country and to extend this possibility of change to the society for a greener tomorrow. The fuel cell technology of Hymotiv is not only meant for automotive propose but also for sustainable energy sources for homes, offices and other power source applications. Since hydrogen is clean fuel in which the by product is only water the energy source is entirely renewable. Hymotiv can produce hydrogen gas very cheaply from electrolysis of water for the above mentioned applications with patented technology of USA based company – Himonic LLC. Thus Hymotiv aims in providing the society with a cleaner fuel for a sustainable tomorrow.
