I Built It was founded by engineer-architect team Zoeya and Sunil with the goal of making gaming terrain and model kits that are intricately detailed yet enjoyable to assemble. Zoeya is a former software engineer and computer hardware tester with a keen interest in architecture and gaming. Sunil is a practicing architect, enthusiastic model maker, and gamer. The idea behind I Built It started when Sunil was in architecture school, but the idea only took when he met his partner Zoeya. Merging their combined skills and experience, together they have created the full range of I Built It's fully modular friction fit kits. Detailed gaming terrain exponentially increases the immersion factor of tabletop games. However, not everyone has the time or skills to craft their own terrain, and commercially available terrain can be notoriously difficult and time-consuming to build and paint! Not to mention the vague instructions that come along with the kits simply serve to increase frustration and prolong the build. At I Built It, we aim to change that! Below is a description of what we do at our company, I BUILT IT: This is the link to our website: www.ibuiltit.co WHAT DO WE DO?: At I Built It, we design and manufacture highly detailed, precisely engineered wood based 3d puzzles. These puzzles are designed to be assembled without the need for tools, paint or glue. All the parts snap together using a unique friction fit system that allows you to assemble and disassemble each kit as you please. Our kits come pre-painted using only non-toxic paints. This pre-painted layer also acts as a primer should you wish to paint or whether your model. All our building kits are "Super-Modular," giving you the ability to combine our sets with almost no limit! OUR PRODUCTS: All our products are architecturally, structurally and historically accurate. The design of each set is backed by exhaustive research on the style and methods of construction that were prevalent in the target time period. All our kits come with realistic material texturing, authentic architectural and structural details, open-able doors and windows and interior details.Provision has been made to allow modelers to install lighting on each floor. Each floor can be lifted up to allow users to peep inside. Individual kits are designed to interlock with other kits allowing collectors to build complete castles or villages. HOW ARE WE UNIQUE?: 1) We are the only company to provide 100% friction fit parts, not a drop of glue is required to join any parts together. All our building kits are "Super-Modular," giving you the ability to combine our sets with almost no limit! 2) We provide detailed instructions as well as instructional videos to help novices overcome challenging areas of their build which our competitors do not. 3) We provide robust and attractive packaging which our competitors do not in an effort to save on costs. 4) We are the only company in the entire subcontinent engaged in this genre of work. 5) Our closest competitors are all UK based, none of them offer friction fit parts, detailed instructions or premium packaging. We are able to offer all of these at competitive prices. OUR TARGET AUDIENCE: Asia: In India, the Middle East and SE Asia our sets are designed to be marketed as educational 3d puzzles. They are marketed to children of a minimum age of 10 as well as adults. UK, Europe, USA, Australia: Our kits are marketed as wargaming kits. OUR FUTURE PLANS: Our first series of products are based on Medieval Europe, it will have a total of 30 different sets.
