Our Intelligent Apple Production System (iAPS), an Artificial Intelligence-driven Decision support system (DSS), is a one-in-all solution. (i) Custom advisory for farmers (real-time and reliable) on all aspects of plant health and disease diagnosis, plant nutrition, orchard management, CA storing and marketing of apple. (ii) e-commerce web-portal on availability and sale of quality agri-inputs and sale of apple through e-mandis (iii) R & D platform on Artificial Intelligence and IoTs for building the big-data by fetching the information (geo-spatial) from individual orchards, installing weather stations (both real and virtual), data analytics for customised (location specific) information to farmers, (iv) Advisory to Research organisations and the Policy planners by making customised information available to them from our big-data archives (v) support environment and human health: our technological system shall support smart farming practices, which can reduce labour and fertilizer inputs, wise-use of plant chemicals and fertilizers shall minimize negative environmental impacts, and also increase yields.
