IDCL India Pvt. Ltd. is a consultation firm which focuses on solving issues faced by people and organisations working in the social development sector. This sector in India has seen a tremendous amount of growth in the past decade. While NGOs still represent an overwhelming majority of the work and people in this space, the sector is now much more diverse with the multitude of work being conducted at various scale and capacity by a plethora of individuals and organisations. There are a few major issues which has come with the growth of the sector and we at IDCL India aim to tackle them by developing a centralised platform to bring together the people working in the sector. Unlike any other sector where tech innovation and automation are replacing man with machines, the development sector demands for a huge manpower along with a large brigade of professional leaders and managers to tackle development challenges and prevailing issues in the society. In this regard, IDCL utilises the skills and expertise of people from various professions and uses it to solve the challenges faced by the organisations in the development sector. The sector which is built on the ethos of cooperation and synergy has now reached a point where there is competition driven by the survival instinct, with a few big organisations on top dominating the sector. This has led to many smaller, ground level organisations to stop operations due to lack of funding and technical support. IDCL India aims to bridge this gap by creating an extensive network of people who will be able to work part-time or on a consulting basis to help the people in the development sector. IDCL India Pvt.
