IGNARIX PRIVATE LIMITED is a deep-tech R&D company (NIC 72100) developing Project ReVolt - AI-first direct cathode recycling for lithium-ion batteries. India Li-ion waste is growing, yet spent cells and black mass are shipped abroad. The cathode metals and the recovery IP leave the country. Conventional routes smash packs down to base metal. Direct recycling aims to keep and repair the cathode crystal so it can re-enter Indian cells. ReVolt R&D: (1) ReVolt Gate - edge AI that fuses vision and elemental sensing to classify mixed / unlabelled pack chemistry at intake; (2) LotCert - tamper-evident lot evidence for audit; (3) direct cathode regeneration research. Complements CPCB/EPR plants; does not replace them. Deep-tech attributes: original process knowledge still being developed; high R&D share of early spend; novel IP under creation and owned in India; long gestation, high capex, genuine scientific uncertainty. Aligned with India critical-minerals and circular-economy missions.
