The company “Indramani Industries Private Limited” is a new company incorporated under the Companies Act 2013. The registered office is situated at Lalganga Apartment, Patwa Complex, MG Road, Raipur CG; 492001 - IN, to set up a Greenfield Project of 60 KLD AA; Grain based Bio Ethanol Distillery (i.e. Bioethanol Plant) under EBP of Govt of India. The proposed plant will produce Bio Ethanol (Absolute Alcohol) through Rectified Spirit. Need for the project and its importance to the country and/or region. The Government of India has approved National Policy on Biofuels – 2018 in order to promote biofuels in the country. Biofuels in India are of strategic importance as it ugers well with ongoing initiatives of Government such as Make in India, Skill Development and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Reduce Import Dependency: The ethanol supply will help to reduce import dependency on crude oil which will in turn result in savings of forex. Cleaner Environment: The use of ethanol will reduce CO2 emissions. It will also reduce Green House Gas emissions by reducing crop burning and conversion of agricultural residues and wastes into biofuels. Health benefits: Prolonged reuse of cooking oil for preparing food, particularly in deep-frying causes health hazard and can lead to many diseases. By using cooking oil as a potential feedstock for biodiesel will prevent diversion of used cooking oil in the food industry. Govt. of India is making all its efforts to reduce the GHG emission from all sources hence the green and clean and carbon neutral fuels are being promoted. ADVANTAGES OF THE BIOETHANOL PROJECT: Ethanol as fuel provides high quality, high octane for exceptional engine performance and ethanol as fuel can be combined with petrol in any concentration up to pure ethanol. 5 Anhydrous ethanol, i.e., ethanol without water, can be blended with petrol in varying quantities to reduce the consumption of petroleum fuels, as well as to reduce air pollution. Ethanol as fuel is increasingly used as an oxygenate additive for standard petrol, as a replacement for methyl tera-butyl ether (MTBE), the later chemical being responsible for considerable groundwater and soil contamination. The project will generate following benefits: Boost to Indian economy: • Agriculture sector will get boost because of additional production of grains. • Less dependence on imports and cheaper cost of production of ethanol will bring down the prices of fuels. • Manufacturing of Ethanol as fuel from grains will also help the farmers to get good support price for their produce in the form of grains. • Due to blending of Ethanol, significant reduction in fuel consumption, hence conservation of fuel. • Due to blending of Ethanol significant reduction in air pollution. Employment Generation (Direct and Indirect) due to the project The unit will need Technical qualified personals for organizing the production and then several skilled workers for operating the unit and for working in workshop, etc. Besides all these type of workers a number of semiskilled and unskilled workers will also be required for peripheral activities like transport, logistics, engineering, Services, commercial services etc. The proposed project is likely to employ 90 people, which will include 15 Administrative Staff and 75 Production Staff.
