INJIN Corpe have a vision of zero emission construction in the country. INJIN-Corpe started by the managing partner at Alfa Cotec industries a unit of HRBL group wished to provide turnkey solution to the OEM's for their off-highway electrification needs. Growth of all stakeholders attached to the company and leveraging supply are the major focus of the company. INJIN-Corpe founder and promoter is a mechanical engineer who submitted his thesis on developing an alternate material for the anode in a lithium-ion battery. Problem : OEM's and the end user are facing high operating costs. The cost of raw material to carry out production in every sector has increased by 6-12% semi annually with further predicted price increase. The cost in turned on to the customer who is forced to pay for the service at an inflated price. A surge in commodities like gasoline, diesel and petrol has caused customers to look for alternative fuels due to high operating costs. However since 2019 especially European countries have been focusing on developing alternate ways to commission and propel off-highway equipment. India is the 5th most polluting nation in the world. Off-highway equipment contributes to 15% Nitrogen oxide and 5% of all particulate matter emissions. Solution : INJIN-Corpe wants to bring forward the solution of replacing the existing ICE with an electric motor and the fuel tank with the battery. The solution to poor air quality, noise pollution, efficient utilization of the current resources for a better and cleaner future , INJIN Corpe has decided to adapt and respond to new technology changes and is working towards making it affordable for every customer. To achieve this INJIN Corpe has built a management team of several veterans with experience in a diverse fields. Market Study : The global excavator market size is estimated to touch $63.1 Bn by 2026. Also the Excavator industry has grown by 17% YoY in Jan'21 vs Jan’20. According to research specialists of off-highway industry, sales volume is forecasted to reach 1.08mn units/year by 2025. A study conducted by oxford Economics and its partners reveals that that in terms of value of output, the construction industry will reach USD 15.5 trillion by 2030, registering a growth rate of 85%. Accounting for 57% of the total output, US, India, and China will lead the growth trajectory of the industry in the foreseeable future. Increasing government initiatives such as increasing stel production capacity to 300M Mt by 2030 incdiates future demand for large excavators used in mining. Overview of the product - INJIN-Corpe plans to be the first player to offer a complete turnkey solution for electrification of off-highway equipment . We are raising funds to build a prototype and introduce it in the Indian market. INJIN-Corpe has the vision of creating jobs and business opportunities through its distributor network and production facility. The prototype will offer the industry a less polluting machinery with more toque and less noise. This machinery will enable users to carry out work in densely populated areas while providing 70% less consumables and spares therefore lower maintenance costs. Competitive landscape - A startup based out of Bangalore is working towards the electrification of tractors and agriculture products. There are various players abroad who have already produced prototypes and are currently in their on field testing stage. In India there is no company which has the same vision or product that INJN-Corpe hopes to offer through this funding round.
