Landscape: Notifications are a Ubiquitous need of all businesses, just like payments. It is a powerful tool that enterprises use to deliver delightful user experiences. The key is to stay connected with users ‘meaningfully’ and communicate the right message to the right person at the right time through the right channel. Problem: There are 10+ channels (SMS, emails, WhatsApp, in-app, push, slack, etc.) and 100+ service providers (Twilio, Kaleyra, Gupshup, etc.) that manage the delivery of notifications. Integrating with each channel/ service provider takes ~4-6 weeks. As organisations grow, notification needs become complex, requiring extensive engineering efforts and a dedicated team.
