Panna district is one of the most back ward district of the Bundlekhand region. This district comes under Sagar division of Madhya Pradesh. During First phase of MPDPIP, Many farmers interest group were created which were found to be mostly based on agriculture activity. These farmers were highly scattered and unreachable, due to which they had too much problem in getting any agri inputs. MPDPIP invested over 53% of its resources on farm sector Agriculture…..especially seed emerged as major issue contributing significantly in its development, Market up-linking through legal institutions; Trade and industry involved with new generation institutions; GoI and GoMP reformed policies to keep pace with dynamic of global demand; Implementation of new reformed policies became corner stone; to full fill this gap, genesis of Marketing Federation of common interest group/ Self Help Group formed by the MPDPIP. Name of the marketing federation is Karnawati Agri Producer Company Limited registered under Company Act 1956 amendment 2002 on 11thDec 2006 since its inception, company has been engaged in the business of seed production and agri input supply to the farmer. Its performance was well received by the community, which is visible in the form of share holder which is increase from 10 to 3061. Share holder of the company are small, marginal farmers and Primary producer. Main crops of the District Panna is Wheat, Gram, Red gram & Paddy total area of paddy is irrigated 4090 hectare and non-irrigated 55520 hectare total area is 59610 hectare production ratio of the irrigated farm is 22.40 Qtl =91616 Qtl and non-irrigated farm is 8.38Qtl =4,65,257 Qtl there is a huge quantity of paddy Vision – Improve rural livelihood especially of small and marginal farmers by upward integration of their institutions with agribusiness trade and industry. Mission Enhancing income of shareholders (small and marginal farmers) by developing dynamic functional linkages with agribusiness trade and industry and develop support system to enable women farmers' and their institution to thrive independently in the competitive agribusiness environment. Main Objectives  To carry on the production, procurement, marketing, selling, storage, processing, packaging, distribution value addition and trading of all agriculture and other produce.  Address “value chain management” in sectors like seeds, food and non-food crops, vegetables and other perishables  Strengthen backward and forward linkages to “induce market driven agriculture” with Primary Producers Incidental Objectives  To undertake the activity for the business interest of the company.  To undertake the activity to support Primary producers' needs i.e. Input supply, Credit and insurance services etc. Strategy:- Karnawati Agri producer company Ltd. Is a marketing federation of the CIG/SHG will work with Members primarily. Company will be focus on seed replacement and improved quality & quantity of Agro products. It will be done through increased Production and marketing activity by service providers. Service Providers will be engaged on long term bases working round the year & will become company employees in future One service Provider will gave services to a cluster of 3 adjoining villages. Karnavati Agri Pro. Com.
