facebook.com/JSSHealthWellness Jeevem Shardah Shatam is an initiative from qualified health professionals for programmes of reversal of lifestyle diseases , hormonal imbalances, obesity, joint pains, diabetes ,depression etc. It incorporates RURAL HEALTH TOURISM also, where patients with disease and healthy individuals striving for healthy habits are taken for a weekend or few days in natural ambience giving them sample of healthy lifestyle with scientific sessions on yoga ,meditation and physical exercises in a sportive and fun way. for this in past we have conducted 4days health trip- the detox retreat" at kausani and Rishikesh. now planning to do it in village of UP at border of Prayag and Rewa, the village has newaria is 5kms away from railway station SHANKARGARH which is directly connected with capital Delhi through railway route. the beauty of area is it is rich in greenery and local seasonal fruit orchards , traditional mud houses with khaprail tiles roofing for natural air-conditioning. there are dense patches of "Palash -flame of forest " butea plants providing fresh pattals for participants and it blooms with red flowers in the march month making it a picturesque spot for photography and picnic. the area has some waterfalls also within 25kms which can be approached for picnic and excursions. nearby rocky slopes are good for fitness games and activities. due to good connectivity with Delhi and overnight train journey , tourists visiting for kumbh and Prayag can also be approached for this spiritual and holistic health programme for reversal of lifestyle diseases. we can also approach corporate houses of Gurgaon for these recreational outings on weekends . the idea is providing employment to local youths and women so that their migration can be prevented as well as heritage mud houses , orchards and accessories like " palki" which they are demolishing due to lack of human resource for maintenance can be preserved.
