Modern lifestyles have created manifold health-related challenges in our everyday lives. Rates of chronic disease have risen leading to overdepence on pills and medication. Despite increasing earnings, modern-day urban professionals live low-quality lives due to poor health & well-being.At JhurGreens we believe in fixing this problem starting from a fundamental nutrition standpoint. Our focus is on growing microgreens— a highly researched variety of crops known for their potent health and therapeutic properties (ranging from anti-cancer to modulation of blood glucose levels). With upto 40 times the nutrition of fully-grown greens, these crops make it easy for consumers to meet their daily nutritional requirements. Being a sensitive crop, the farming environment is climate-controlled to precision, with zero pests and zero use of outside chemical agents. We believe indoor vertical urban farming is the future solution to meet nutrition-security for ever-growing urbanisation. Our vision is to make chemical-free nutrition-dense produce accessible to urban dwellers so that disease-burden and over-dependence on pills/powders is brought to a minimum.
