The changing health scenario has brought in a major shift in the natural history of diseases pattern. More and more people are affected by Non-Communicable Diseases(NCDs). Acute events associated with these diseases often result in significant mortality and morbidity. In the specific case of Acute Heart Attacks, despite advancements in treatment, mortality rates remain unacceptably high. Two key factors contributing to this are: Lack of Sensitivity: Insufficient public awareness of early symptoms and inadequate diagnostic capabilities at the primary healthcare level. Availability of Transport: Challenges in timely access to appropriate medical facilities. These challenges are largely driven by a lack of information and public awareness. Effective sensitization programs and improved information dissemination are crucial to reducing mortality and morbidity associated with acute events.
