Joy Retail & technologies Private limited, through its brand Joy General Store is a chain of branded hyper local technology enabled neighbourhood & community stores which uses an innovative mix of modern retail, omni-channel presence and hyper local nature to enhance the convenience factor of grocery shopping.Joy General store (JGS) is India’s 1st technology company that is enabling Hyper local neighbourhood commerce in communities. JGS uses a blend of technology in the areas of logistics, supply chain management, analytics on customer behaviour & last mile delivery. JGS vision is to operate 1000 hyper local neighbourhood kirana stores across India, supported by a technology driven digital solutions which will connect the entire retail eco-system i.e., over 100 FMCG distributors, brands, wholesalers, logistics and JGS warehouse. Joy aims to provide a simplified retail experience for kirana stores, stand alone supermarkets and community stores where inventory management, logistics, ensuring real time delivery of stock from the distributors to the stores is technology driven. Joy General Stores comprehensive digital platform will enable to manage & optimise store operations, ensure procurement is based on customer behaviour, create a virtual merchandising space, engage with customers outside the store & ensure last mile delivery to the customer is a seamless and time efficient process.
