WOMEN ENTERPRENURIAL STARTUP JOURNEY JS FOODS – a Start up company founded by Woman Agripreneur in the year 2019. It was started with an idea of providing a healthy and tasty Value Added Millet Based Products. In ancient days millets were consumed as the staple product in the form of porridge and other forms which makes our ancestors with all immunity and wonderful healthy body. It has been already well known that consumption of millets increases life span upto 100 years. Nowadays in this fast moving internet world, we are all depend on fast food culture as there is no time to spend to take or think about millets or millets based food products in our day to day life. Though bringing back the ancient days food habits is not possible in this fast moving world, we have put our efforts and started a venture purely millet based food products without white sugar, maida, egg and any types of preservatives and food colours. It can be easily taken by all peoples in all age groups including kids too. For almost one and half year we are in Research and Development mode to realize the objective of delivering the nutritious and tasty food products. With all the support and guidance given by Thiru. A.V.Gnanasambandam,Chief Executive Officer, Technology Business Incubator-Agribusiness Incubation Society(ABIS), Directorate of Agribusiness Development, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore we have grown up well with an ability to provide our food products in all stores in and around Coimbatore. IMPACT OF RKVY-RAFTAAR GRANT IN OUR BUSINESS Initially JS Foods have been registered as Proprietorship Concern in TBI, TNAU, Coimbatore , JS Foods Proprietorship Concern have been developed into Partnership Firm. On receiving of Rs.5,00,000/- for the idea of Chocofilled Herbal Millet Cookies received from RKVY-RAFTAAR, JS Foods Proprietorship Concern have been developed into Partnership Firm. Fund is utilised for the following activities  Procurement of Raw materials from Dharmapuri FPO  Procurement of Packaging materials such as Carton boxes and Silver foil covers  Man power  Standardisation of the product  Lab testing  Trademark registration MAJOR IMPACTS Income Generation for Farmers Raw materials such as Millets are procured from Dharmapuri FPO Women Empowerment At present 3 Women employee were working in our unit TBI GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT With all the support and guidance given by Thiru. A.V.Gnanasambandam, Chief Executive Officer, Technology Business Incubator-Agribusiness Incubation Society(ABIS), Directorate of Agribusiness Development, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore and Grant received from RKVY we have came with about 9 Millet value added products which are free of Maida, Refined sugar and Artificial Colors. Our Products were as follows  Multimillet Classic Premium  Multimillet Fruit & Nut cookies  Choco Multimillet Ashwagantha cookies  Choco Multimillet Moringa cookies  Choco Multimillet Thulasi cookies  Choco Multimillet Vallarai cookies  Thinai Coconut Cookies  Spicy Cumbu Cookies  Multimillet Butter cookies We are now supplying to over 130 stores in and around Coimbatore. And also our products available in E commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart and Zomato. We are also supplying to places such as Bangalore, Thanjavur, Pollachi and Kangeyam. FUTURE BUSINESS EXPANSION  As 2023 is declared as International Year of Millets, Millet Value added products have more potential in the Local Market  High Export Opportunities As the sky is unlimited we also want to extend our products to all the extent as globally
