The Integrated School Management application developed for the state of Andhra Pradesh was a customised solution addressing the needs of the stakeholders which were never done in the state or any other application running in the state. The features like online admissions, asset management, 360 degree pictures of all the schools, benchmarking platform through connecting all the schools alongwith with the analytics were introduced for the first time which has helped in enhancing effectiveness of MIS in the education department of AP. The application also focussing on online assessment of Uniforms and Books requirements going ahead. Services delivery for implementation was also reengineered by conducting district level workshops, creating groups of the schools on whatsapp for a seamless communication system between all the stakeholders at school and district level which was highly appreciated by the department. To map and validate the assets of each school personal visits were conducted to capture the AS-IS situation which in turn will help the department make effective allocation of budget for refurbishing all the schools in the KGBV schools in the state. The same concept now is being rolled out for other schools in the district. Another innovative product that we are working on is online assessment of the teachers in the state. The assessment tool would consider the performance measures of the Teachers duly identified alongwith the education department and also incorporate the attitudinal aspect of the teachers through developing customised competency framework. An online test would be conducted to carry out the assessment.
