KamPao.in - Better Employment for Everyone Workers in the unskilled/semiskilled labour categories in India do not have reliable access to proper jobs. Conversely, employers in developed areas suffer from labour shortages and do not have full visibility into the country's talent pool. Approximately 60-70% of the Indian workforce is employed in semiskilled/unskilled labour categories. Yet, for this large segment of the population the process of recruitment is opaque and full of uncertainties. KamPao.in aims to solve this problem by providing a standardised, widely available platform that every worker in India can use regardless of their background, education status, literacy status or financial status. Even people who do not own a smartphone, a feature phone or any phone at all can get connected to our platform. All our apps and products are designed to simple enough for the average Indian worker to understand. KamPao.in already supports 9 Indian languages. We aim to add every major Indian language to the platform. Plus, we will soon add text-to-speech support so that workers that lack reading and writing skills can also access the platform. Our focus goes deep into the heartlands of India, where traditional forms of recruitment have been ineffective. Trust is a major concern for a business owner when hiring workers for any small business. The concern is equally big for an employee wanting to join a business, dependent on factors such as on-time wages and fair compensation. KamPao.in plans to roll out a comprehensive verification program for both workers and employers so that customers will have access to a documented history, useful information and a degree of trust provided by us before taking any job or hiring any worker. KamPao.in's partnership with job creators and businesses will create a pipeline of opportunities, connecting workers to a wider range of opportunities than ever before. Our free MVP launched last week and has 2000+ users already.
