AppUM, an online marketplace under KAPS MINDS INTERACTIVE PVT LTD launched and active in Kochi, Kerala since November’20. Initially, we worked as a hyperlocal B2B2C platform connecting consumers with their neighbourhood retailers & distributors through our mobile application. Based on our experience and insights into consumer behaviour, we have pivoted into a new D2C business model from Jan 2022 where we provide fresh produce to the consumers. . The Fish and Meat are freshly sourced from the local market/small boats/shores. There is no pre-storing. AppUM mobile app is a D2C online marketplace that provides Fresh Fish and Meat at the doorstep in Kochi. The products are freshly sourced from the local market/small boats/shores. We connect the consumers to the biggest meat markets in the city. We are an incubatee of NABARD MABIF. Our vision is to create an online marketplace for fresh food products where consumers get fresh products home-delivered at a reasonable price. Through this, we promote local businesses & Organize the unorganized market. Also, we aim to extend support to small and marginal farmers by promoting fresh produce sourced directly from them in partnership with FARMCONNECT.
