KarbonX is an innovative clean-energy platform focused on democratizing access to solar power through peer-to-peer (P2P) energy trading. Our mission is to enable anyone — whether they own land, rooftops, or neither — to participate in India’s renewable energy transition while earning or saving money. We bring together solar energy producers (landowners, rooftop system owners, industrial facilities) and energy buyers (apartment dwellers, SMEs, sustainability-focused consumers) on a single platform, enabling transparent and fair energy transactions. Our initial phase rewards users with credits and coupons that can be redeemed for electricity bill payments or clean-tech products, creating instant tangible value. In the long term, KarbonX aims to integrate with DISCOMs for direct energy credit settlements and enable large-scale decentralized solar adoption.
