Katori Fresh is an end-to-end Farm-2-Plate Agro-Biz venture with the USP as Fresh, Pure, Traditional, Handcrafted Gourmet food products, directly sourced from women farmers and farm producer organizations in Rajasthan through farmer collectives based in Rajasthan and Uttarakhand (at present) as we want to become an Umbrella Organization for farmers/collectives. We are working through a gender-centric model where trained women are delivering all grass-root services to members of FPOs viz. animal health & feed management, para-vet care, milking, processing & packaging; thus making ours a unique business model. We are launching specialized (niche) products with little competition in each vertical i.e. probiotic ghee, flavoured goat milk and cow paneer etc., thus commanding premium besides huge visibility and brand recall. We are trying to revive hand-crafted and heritage based traditional dairy, spices, oils and other food products by linking them up with urban up-market food chains like Big Bazaar, Hypercity, Godrej Fresh & with online majors like Big Basket and Amazon Fresh, who are supporting our Farm-2-Plate initiative to empower women farmers and disadvantaged youth.
