Learning and career guidance are two pillars that bolster the career advancement of an individual professionally. At Kenomy, we are working on integrating learning and career guidance on our platform where individuals: (a) can access experienced professionals who act as expert guides online through our platform. and (b) can access relevant learning content online on our platform to help them plug the gaps identified during mentoring. Hence the product is innovative since there are no such platforms in India that help connect the career guide/mentor with the mentee online through a platform and provide tools to facilitate the discussions. The process is innovative since Kenomy uniquely integrates learning and mentoring that can facilitate the objective of assisting in the holistic professional career advancement of individuals. At present, most career guidance is based on informal networks. Our platform will be able to provide the scale where recipients of advice will not need to be restricted to his/her informal network and will be able to select an expert/guide based on the rating of that expert provided by other guidance seekers/mentees previously.
