Average annual income of a farmer in Tamilnadu is INR 100,000. This is seasonal and majority of it is used to service debt and buying agricultural inputs. To top it up, farm operations are rain and irrigation dependent. It is also heavily influenced by forced of nature and subject to expensive labour. Lastly, farmers' income is dependent on highly volatile market conditions with limited influence on price of produce. We design and build a hi-tech, semi automated, controlled environment (CE) farm using Hydroponics technology while facilitating with banks for access to finance. Farmers can finally sell their produce in our marketplace and get assured income. The farmer can choose the crops he wants to grow which will be professionally managed by a trained agronomist with in-house nutrient formulations and grower supplies.
