Problem: In a dream of digital India, where voice is communicated digitally, our agri produce & processed agro commodities sectors are left far behind. The exhaustive communication from Buyer to Broker, Broker to Middlemen and Middlemen to farmer happens over phone calls and lacks transparency and credibility, leading to farmer’s exploitation. Agri trade has lot of information barriers which restricts the farmer from direct trade, including exhaustive buyers, credit rating of buyer, volatile prices, packaging, quality conditions, payment discounts, financiers, brokers, etc. Also, the fact that a farmer transacts a limited times per year, stops him from connecting with buyers. Solution: We are creating an online marketplace for agri commodities where live prices will be given by bulk commodity buyers like Wheat roller flour mills, Maize starch units, Soybean solvent extraction units, etc.The platform will allow buyers and sellers to transact online, receive stage wise transaction updates, avail logistic support etc; thus making Pan India trade a reality, bringing small stakeholders at par with others and supporting ambassadors of trade through review mechanisms. Users will be updated with latest sector news in domestic and international markets, weather updates & forecasts, analyst recommendations, etc.
