Lawraj Pvt Ltd is a LegalTech and AI-data platform that helps Indian litigants make informed, transparent, and evidence-based decisions while selecting lawyers. The platform analyses publicly available court records using NLP and machine learning to create structured lawyer performance profiles based on case history, outcomes, case types, and litigation timelines. Today, most litigants rely on informal networks and hearsay to choose lawyers, leading to mismatches, higher costs, and delayed justice. Lawraj solves this by converting millions of court orders and judgments into searchable, fact-based insights that show a lawyer’s actual litigation track record. This enables individuals, SMEs, and enterprises to evaluate lawyers objectively before engaging them. The product is built on a proprietary AI pipeline that ingests, cleans, and structures Supreme Court and High Court data. Phase 1 covers the Supreme Court of India (18 lakh orders and ~50,000 judgments from 2010 onward), with future expansion planned to High Courts and Tribunals. Lawraj operates as an information and analytics platform and does not provide legal advice or solicit work for any advocate. The long-term mission is to advance transparency, reduce mis-spent legal costs, and improve access to justice by strengthening how legal talent is discovered and matched in India.
